Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee, CBE, CStJ (nascido em 27 de Maio de 1922) foi o ator que interpretou Conde Dookan em Star Wars Episódio II: Ataque dos Clones e Star Wars Episódio III: A Vingança dos Sith, e no filme Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Lee era mais conhecido por seu trabalho em filmes de terror produzidos pela Hammer Studios. Vários destes filmes contaram com a participação de seu amigo pessoal Peter Cushing, que interpretou Grande Moff Tarkin em Uma Nova Esperança. Ele também apareceu como Francisco Scaramanga, o vilão principal no filme de James Bond com Roger Moore, 007 contra o homem com a pistola de ouro. Apesar de uma carreira amplamente aclamada e que se expandiu por mais de 70 anos, Lee nunca foi nomeado para um Academy Award.
Em Ataque dos Clones e A Vingança dos Sith ele interpretou Conde Dooku, um personagem com poderes sobre-humanos que já havia sido bom, mas caiu para o lado sombrio. Enquanto Lee, um espadachim profissional, fez boa parte das cenas em que haviam lutas com sabres, o dublê Kyle Rowling foi contratado para fazer as cenas mais rápidas do personagem de Christopher Lee. A face de Rowling foi modificada posteriormente pela produção.
Um fato interessante é que em 2002, o mesmo ano em que Ataque dos Clones foi lançado, Lee interpretou, em O Senhor dos Anéis: As Duas Torres, o personagem Saruman o Branco, que é um mago com poderes sobre-humanos que já havia sido bom e depois se tornou mal, por causa do poder do Um anel, no primeiro filme da trilogia A Sociedade do Anel.
Sir Christopher Lee também trabalhou com George Lucas na série de televisão de 1992 chamada The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, na qual interpretou o Conde Ottokar Graf Czerin no episódio "Austria, March 1917."
Lee reprisou seu papel como Conde Dooku nofilme e na série de TV de Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Na adaptação para video game de Star Wars Episódio III: A Vingança dos Sith, apesar de Dooku ser interpretado na maior parte pelo duble sonoro de Lee, Corey Burton, em uma cena do jogo, Sir Christopher Lee reprisa seu papel de Conde Dooku, dizendo "Só porque há dois de vocês, não assuma que estão em vantagem". Seus arquivos foram utilizados para o jogo Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. Ele está trabalhando com a HoloNet News como voz adicional.
Sir Christopher Lee também trabalhou rcentemente cantanddo e participando do CD Revelation. Ele também trabalhou com a banda de power metal italiana Rhapsody of Fire, cantando em algumas de suas canções jutamente com o vocalista.
Em 13 de Junho de 2009, Lee recebeu o título de Sir durante a "Queen's Birthday Honours".[1]
