Spídrová motorka 74-Z vyráběná společností Aratech Repulsor Company se proslavila zejména v období Galaktického impéria , kdy sloužila jako dopravní a průzkumný prostředek stormtrooperů . Model 74-Z byl vojenskou variantou civilní 74-Y .
Popis [ ] Velmi obratná motorka dosahovala rychlosti až 500 km/h a dokázala vystoupat do výšky 25 m nad povrch. Směr pohybu motorky byl ovládán řídítky, rychlost a výška pomocí pedálů. Mezi řídítky se nacházelo ovládání komlinku a rušičky radiového vysílání. Vyzbrojena byly rotačním blasterovým dělem .

Historie [ ] Klonové války [ ] Motorky používala už armáda Galaktické republiky během Klonových válek , spolu se staršími BARC spídry. Poprvé byly použity v bitvě o Geonosis , kam byly vysazen z dělových člunů LAAT/i .
Mistryně Jedi Stass Allie byly sestřelena svými vojáky na planetě Saleucami , když se s celou jednotkou přesunovala na motorkách 74-Z.
Galaktická občanská válka [ ] V této době používaly motorky obě strany, jak Impérium , tak Aliance , ačkoliv Aratech vozidla dodával primárně imperiálním jednotkám.
Na měsíci Endor svedli Luke Skywalker a Leia Organa na těchto strojích honičku s imperiálními scout troopery .
