Un droide de protocolo plateado.
Un droide de protocolo era un droide cuyo trabajo era ayudar a las especies inteligentes con la etiqueta y las relaciones entre ellos en la galaxia. Normalmente medían 1,7 metros de alto, y tenían diferentes formas, aunque la mayoría eran de forma humanoide.[1] Los modelos más notables incluían las unidades 3PO de Cybot Galactica y al RA-7 de Industrias Arakyd.
