El holoajedrez era un juego de ajedrez que utilizaba hologramas para representar las piezas del juego, las cuales, solían ser alienígenas exóticos. Se jugaba como forma de entretenimiento y para apostar. Las reglas diferían del ajedrez estándar, ya que se jugaba en un tablero circular, en vez de cuadrado, el holoajedrez también difería del dejarik.[1] La Sala Tralla en el Coral Vanda tenía varias mesas de holoajedrez.
Entre sus variantes se incluían el holoajedrez divorano, el holoajedrez denebiano, el holoajedrez moebius y el dejarik.
