For your question The Dark Mac, which is a pretty interesting question, I was a reader of Wookieepedia for many years but I first participated on Discussions before transitioning to editing as well. As for why not many editors join Discussions, I'll have to agree with Brandon there, I think he covers it pretty well.

We see a small amount of editors coming to join Discussions, but also a small amount of Discussions members that become editors. Hopefully both worlds are brought closer and closer as we hope to continue to improve and develop Discussions more and more.

Do we really need this kind of attitude in this community?.. I realise it’s a bio, but still this is kind of harsh.

Was DarthNils banned for simply having that in his bio? Not saying those things are pleasant to read, but outright banning him for saying them, is that a bit harsh? Or was that the final nail in the coffin of something that's been brewing for a longer time?

He had a generally bad attitude
