<p>In ANH, we know there were those who called her “Lee-ah”. In ESB, she clearly pronounced her character as “Lay-ah”, but also pronounced “Hann” instead of “Hawn” while visiting Lando. Luke meditating with Yoda in Dagobah, flutters with seeing “Lay-ah” and “Hawn” in the cloud city....in pain. Following this scene, the names continue to be pronounced the same way. What do you think?</p>
<p>I thought people in the Star Wars universe just don’t have a phonics class. There were a lot of variations in pronouncing Alderaan too</p>

Different accents pronounce words differently. Also some people will consistently say names incorrectly, like people who pronounce Matthew as Matchoo
