Ahsoka Tano is by definition my favorite character in all the franchise, we see her development, her struggling, her strength and power of will. In my opinion she represents the best side of Anakin, they are similar in many ways, her character, worldview, but with one Major difference, Ahsoka when facing the decay of the Jedi Order caused by Palpatine she makes the right decision, she does not deal in absolutes, and she understands that she don't have to be a Jedi to be a genuinely good person, that having emotions is not always bad and she truly learns what's right and what's wrong.
But why did I started this post in the first place: Maybe her being the possible positive outcome of Anakin is more than just a fun metaphor. I want to come back for my to be true second least favorite storyline in The Clone Wars (After the Mandalore corruption thing that had written dialogue even worse than Episode 2: Attack of the Clones) - Mortis.
Personally I prefer to see Mortis as a metaphor or a dream rather than actual events, but be it that way or another, the Mortis Storyline leaves a mark on the characters, to be specific - on Ahsoka. After falling to the hands of the son and being turned to the dark side for a short while, Ahsoka get killed to be brought back to live and the light by the dying daughter (The Last Airbender did it better in the ending of the first season though). After that we can see some strange series of coincidences.
So she was saved by the daughter, the very entity of light, in her exile she took the name Ashla that literaly means light and than comes Morai. Morai is the bird that is following Ahsoka throughout the Rebels series, possibly it is the avatar of The Daughter but some things we know for sure.
1. It's related to the Daughter
2. It's mystical
3. It follows Ahsoka
The important question here is not who is Ahsoka but rather what does she represents? Personally I think that her apprenticeship with Anakin is more than a coincidence, perhaps it's even faith.
Ahsoka is what Anakin could have become, she carries all the good that left in him.
By judging the father's words on Mortis, Anakin, the chosen one could be the next Father, maybe Ahsoka meant to be the next Sister? And if so... Who was meant to be the next brother?
One day we will know, what do you think on the subject? Also would like to hear your theories about Ahsoka's adventures during the Galactic Civil War, I like to think that in some point she reunited with old Obi Wan, but he told her to leave just like he did to Ezra. Anyway thanks for your time!
