The "strong, medium, and fast styles" of the New Jedi Order is just a gameplay mechanic of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy right? They don't seem like they would be actual forms.
Actually the Jedi academy training manual(Rpg sourcebook) confirms their in universe existence though it is often speculated that Kam Solusar and/or Kyle katarn likely founded them as part of NJO's curriculum.
