Found this gem at Goodwill. I don't know who would throw away something this cool.
There's an actual fan club?!?!
(There's a whole 31 page book inside it, but I'm not gonna photograph it)

I suppose someone didn't want an old soundtrack cluttering their home, This CD package was from 1997, so it's quite possible whoever it originally belonged to has little grandchildren by now or is too busy working on their second doctorate to notice memaw took a box of their forgotten stuff to Goodwill :)
What I want to know is: why in the world did the designer not make the CD hole the superlaser?
Well, it wouldn't be accurate, for one thing.
@WizardWarrior1 I'm imagining the image on the disk slanted so that the hole aligns evenly with the expected position of the laser. It would have looked karking awesome.
I own the Empire Strikes Back version of this disc!
@SpicetimeContinuum I thought the same thing.
Awesome 😎
Where'd the picture of the cover go???
Here is another picture
Nice find!
It is a little sad that in 2024 these are still the most complete releases of the original trilogy scores, but at least they're pretty common.
I do love the booklet, especially for this first film where it has the detailed recording log. That's been invaluable for my Cue by Cue series
Really ancient artifact^^) If be honest, are you feeling Force or similar vibe by disk?
What do you think?
