In Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Rey, the main character of the New Trilogy, was revealed to be the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine AKA Darth Sidious, the main villain of the Star Wars Saga. As shocking as that reveal was, I have a few questions about that. In the New Trilogy, we got a few glimpses into Rey's childhood through some flashbacks. When exactly did the events of those flashbacks take place? Because if we follow the timeline of the Star Wars Saga, the flashback events of Rey's childhood would've had to have taken place right after the Prequel Trilogy, and during the Original Trilogy. Maybe. Can someone explain it to me?

Darth Vader (2020) continued in its 44th issue. Love those Tatooine-ish tones!
The Mace Windu miniseries released its 2nd issue. Now hold on a second... you don't think that these Bore worms of Ro Mira could have been inspired by Dune do you? We're looking pretty sandy and full of teeth if you ask me (which of course you did). With all the Dune hype going around, I couldn't help, but notice a similarity there.
Last for our new releases section, we have a pretty gnarly looking High Republic Adventures #4 cover. Those fellers ain't lookin' like good guys!

Using my emergency powers to showcase a post that I deem worthy, I wanted to shout-out another short essay that we had shared with us this week by @Lord Maaar on Valkorion that I enjoyed. I really don't know anything about the old republic besides knowledge of a few character's existences, so getting a bit more education on the subject was interesting. I found it curious that the Valkster wanted to inhale the galaxy so that he could become a farmer. I don't know about you, but that sounds like an absolutely lit villain motive to me. However, as M triple a r describes, it wasn't upheld across his many appearances, so it really didn't go anywhere, which I think is pretty depressing. (My disappointment is immensurable and my day is henceforth ruined!) Anyways, here it is for you to check out if you wish. Thanks for your thoughts, triple A!

Galactic Republic and Republic of Ancient Rome looks like same, sure?😊 Yes, they are in different universes, but it have Senate, Council, fall and Empire. Now facts:
1. The two Republics are powerful
Galactic Republic and Roman Republic is starting exist in BC (Before Christ) and BBY (Before battle of Yavin). In the two Republics have wars and they become Empires and emperors.
2. They have flags
The flag of Galactic Republic
The flag of Roman Republic
The two Republics have flags with symbol and red background.
3. They become Empires
Galactic Republic became Empire in 19 BBY and is renamed to Galactic Empire. The emperor is Palpatine, who was chancellor from Naboo like Queen Padmé Amidala.
Roman Republic became Empire in 27 BC and is renamed to Roman Empire. The emperor is Octavian August, who was adopted by Ceaser.

Was re'reading some comics and noticed what I believe to be the infinity gauntlet in the emperors personal collection. This was found in Dr Aphra #13. Fanfiction writers go!
