I fully understand there is already a thread based on "which is your favorites" out there. This one is different, trust! 🖐😅
There are stipulations to this one! We are all well-aware of the classic Sith/Dark Siders from these two eras. All the way from Pre-Clone Wars with Darth Plagueis, the Wise, Darth Sidious, Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Maul, Savage Opress, and Darth Vader. I want you to think beyond these classic examples and tell me your favorite lesser-known, obscure, or not-as-talked about Sith/Dark Sider from the Clone Wars to Galactic Civil War Eras. 😁
Chose from either Legends or Canonical material! 📜
Okay…
…hear me out…
…a Star Wars movie directed by Tim Burton. DON’T CLICK OFF, I’m not crazy. I think this is what Star Wars needs right now; variety. You wanna make the Star Wars cinematic universe as big as the MCU, Disney? Add some new flavors! Maybe it’s just me but, with the exception of Andor and Skeleton Crew, most modern Star Wars content feels like the same tone and vibe. And if Disney wants to expand the Star Wars franchise as big as the MCU, do what the MCU did; add some new ingredients to the gumbo. Bring in different people with different styles with the same creative spirit George had. Look at what Star Wars Visions was able to accomplish; All these different animation Studios coming together to give Star Wars the variety it desperately needs. Now, bring that to canon, to the mainstream, that would be awesome! Now, I personally think a standalone film would work best for Burton. As a big fan of Star Wars and Burton, if he’s given the opportunity to let his creativity thrive, think of what he could do in the Star Wars universe! But, since Disney is, well, Disney, they’d probably only let this happen if it focused around pre-established characters so if that the only way a Burton Star Wars film could happen, I say continue the Anthology Films and make a Palpatine origin story BUT keep him pure evil. But, maybe I’m crazy, what do ya’ll think?

Do you kind of wonder how or why Naare became a Sith agent?

What I mean is, there was infighting between them—they nearly destroyed themselves to the point where Darth Bane established the Rule of Two, which created a cycle of betrayal between the two Sith, with the Sith apprentice always eventually having to betray his Sith master. Also, it took them about a thousand years to regain power over the galaxy, and when they finally regained power, they only kept it for 23 years until the Empire was defeated by the Rebels. So, the Sith weren’t really all that good at gaining power and keeping it, right? Does that mean the Sith weren’t all that smart after all?
In my opinion, the problems that came with their philosophy, which they ultimately failed to address, made them unintelligent. If they were more intelligent, they would have addressed the flaws in their philosophy to make it more sustainable. Sure, Palpatine managed to fool the entire galaxy, but once the Sith regained power, they only kept it for a short period. They weren’t good at staying in power once they finally had it. They failed to learn from historical patterns, address fundamental flaws in their system, build sustainable power structures, and recognize that fear and betrayal are not viable long-term strategies. These flaws in their philosophy made their rule unsustainable and doomed to failure.
Who is your favourite sith and Jedi?
For Sith mine would be Darth Malgus and Jedi would be Plo Koon
