I’m a farmer, cows don’t understand the concept, lol
I just can’t get into the sequels. I really had high hopes, and they just don’t do anything for me. Not sure what it is, but I have to go with the prequels
Legends, all eras
With the sounds of the spurs as whoever was approaching Fennec initially made me think it was the Mandalorian, he’s the only one we’ve heard (so far) that makes THAT sound while he walks.
It’s possible that it is in fact Dyn. He might have grabbed the tracking fob off the other dead bounty hunter to see if it was actually tuned to Fennec (we never heard it going off when he approached her body, maybe they weren’t tracking her after all)
Honestly, I guess we’re just going to have to wait until we get confirmation in a later chapter
Why isn’t the walking carpet getting any love?
I’m still not sure about this chapter, I’ll have to watch it again.
Pacing felt off to me, seemed like this episode took forever (and not in a good way). Just felt like a filler chapter with no real story progression (at least until the end scene, which did leave on an interesting note), but still overall enjoyable. Humor was a little more prevalent, some funny one liners that lightened up the mood a bit
Good old Tatooine, it was nice to get back into some familiar territory. Challum’s Cantina is a lot more quieter these days. Where’s Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes? Where’s Wuher? Why is EV-99 serving drinks? When did they install track lighting? Maybe they’ll be answered in the Kenobi series, he’s our only hope.
The prospective bounty hunter (who I’ll call Discount James Franco because we never got his name) is obviously clueless. He wants in the guild, but doesn’t know anything about Dyn and baby Yoda? And him breaking the tracking fob set up the double cross. You knew from the start he’d be a throw away character.
The mechanic (I’ll call her Discount Rhea Pearlman) seemed genuine enough, her pit droids were a nice throwback to the prequels, but idk, something about her felt off. Who knows, I was kinda waiting for baby Yoda to spit up on her, especially when she first picked him up.
The bounty should have been harder to take down. A novice like Discount James Franco shouldn’t have given such an accomplished assassin like her any trouble. I was surprised when he shot her after she told him about Dyn (something he should have known), honestly didn’t see that one coming.
I’ve noticed that baby Yoda is developing his own little personality over the past two chapters. He’s gone from soaking everything in to actually his representative age. I’m glad they’re not pushing the aspect of his Force abilities just yet and allowing his character to develop and be a kid. It’s different and kinda cool how they’re handling him.
Well, I’ll have nightmares now
