Definitely a revan trilogy. Movie 1-Revan fighting in/ending the mandalorian war. Movie 2-Revan becoming Darth revan and fighting the republic. Movie 3-Revan returning to the light and defeating Darth Malek. Or something like that.
Revan (obviously). Not only did he end the mandalorian war but then took the fight back to the republic JUST TO SHOW THEM HOW WEAK THEY WERE! Then he goes Lone Ranger to fight the sith alone. To me he’s the ultimate example of how a single powerful force user can shape the galaxy
He is the ultimate hero in the sense that he will do whatever it takes to protect what matters to him. He defeated the mandalorians, then went to war against the republic to prepare them for the future, then took off to face an unknown enemy BY HIMSELF!
Agree that the force balances itself out. However it was obvious that the Jedi had misconstrued the prophecy as they were the self proclaimed ‘keepers of the peace’, yet didn’t hesitate to take a huge lead in becoming generals in the Army of the Republic. Who knows what might have happened after the war and they still maintained such a powerful presence, so they needed to be checked.
I think TFA was done well in the sense that it gave new Star Wars fans a similar feeling we had watching ANH. It wasn’t meant to bring a ton of new material to the table, just even the playing field by appealing to both long time Star Wars fans as well as new ones. However I do agree that basically writing off all of the Legends as non canon pissed me off as those characters and storylines were so well put together. But TFA was a huge waste of time. It’s the slowest chase scene in the galaxy, Finn goes on a wild goose chase that amounts to absolutely nothing, and Luke dies by having Kylo fight a phantom of himself? Give me a break. But I’m glad JJ Abrams is directing the Rise of Skywalker I think that’s where TLJ went wrong.
Which Luke Skywalker? The one who defeated Shimrra Jamaane and is a total badass, or the grumpy hermit from The Last Jedi?
So sad that Solo screwed up different backstories for these iconic characters. Boba would’ve been an amazing individual to follow as a teen clone of one of the baddest mercs in the galaxy trying to survive.
I’m leaning towards The Child being studied to replicate his species long life span, as well an near automatic strong force wielding abilities. What more could a Sith Lord want than to be ultra powerful and live almost 1000 years?
