I had the privilege to see James Earl Jones portray garbage man Troy Maxson in August Wilson's play "Fences", when I was a teenager.
When he entered the stage, the ENTIRE audience gave him A STANDING OVATION!
He made me believe that he was a man who once dreamed of being a baseball player and settled on being a sanitation worker.
Just like (eventhough it wasn't his body or visage in the protective armor) he made me believe he was a fallen Jedi Knight.
