There are always random rebel pilots or clone troopers who share names because someone at Luscafilm forgot about the other (ex. Charger from the Bad Batch’s Hyperspace Stories and Charger, who died at the Citadel), but I can’t think of people who were share names outside of nicknames. After all, clone troopers all receive their names as nicknames. Are there any names in Star Wars that show up on multiple characters? Any names that are common in Star Wars the same way “John” or “Lee” or “Tom” are common on Earth?
To my knowledge, kyber is colorless until a Jedi connects with it or a sith bleeds it. So what would happen if a non force sensitive put a colorless crystal in a lightsaber?
For me, it was when I suggested that Sabine Wren was Force sensitive back in 2021, and almost everyone saying I was wrong.
Some friends and I had to cook up a constitution for politics class, let me know what you guys think. Bonus points to whoever can correctly guess what grade we got /10.

A quasi love letter-interlude on WookieeProject:Collaboration's potential...
Wookieepedia can be enjoyed as a hobby in numerous ways, ranging from reading the site, being a casual editor, or having it as a cherished evening routine. Whether the attractiveness of it comes from a love for Star Wars, a love for the intricacies of the site's workings, or a mixture of both... it's certainly different for each person.
In many aspects though, editing on Wookieepedia is often something done alone. Crafting an article from scratch and bringing it to status or completing a major update to a key topic can be incredibly satisfying and promote feelings of pride and accomplishment. Especially in Wookieepedia's earlier days, except for Mofferences, social contact between editors was at least more limited than it is now, with the addition of Wookieepedia's Discord server. Now, responses can often happen in realtime rather than drawn-out talk page conversations.
A long-held personal belief of mine is that Wookieepedia's editors would benefit from a heightened level of collaboration, to continue making this site we so love better. After all, what isn't better with friends? Early forms of exploring this included WookieeNights, which were originally defined as watch parties only. Though the idea never gained traction, it did allow for us to later expand the definition of WookieeNights to be more broad and encompassing. Something curious about Wookieepedia as a community however is simply the first hardest step: how to get involved? How to perhaps gain and make new friends in a community already so interwoven? (How do we, as admins, remain consistent about scheduling WookieeNights or coordinating other efforts such as Stardust?)
I think perhaps as a tangent, also worth a brief interlude on the difference between “acquaintances” or “colleagues” and “friends.” Certainly, with the Discord being an integrated part of Wookieepedia now, it's more than possible to regularly converse with any wide number of editors at the same time, some more frequently than others. Though much of this might be surface-level chatter, it's nevertheless extremely healthy for the editing community to be able to have casual conversations about the topics they love in a safe environment. Many editors that might one day become your close working partner or friend could first be met here.
Perhaps that is something for Wookieepedia's administration to further promote and lead the community by example? More WookieeNights, more collaborative efforts such as Stardust and WP:COLLAB maintenance projects… even perhaps reaching out to Discussions users with invites to all three? A constant thought in mind: what can we do to help propel the community in this way? How can we, as an admin team, continue playing an active and engaged role in pressing Wookieepedia to be better? Inaction and letting the status quo remain aren't inherently harmful, but will never result in true leaps and bounds forward such as the hard-fought ones achieved thus far over the last few years. Another accurate thought might be: is this even necessary? Wookieepedia has operated with primarily efforts from editors working alone for over two decades now.

Personally I can't help but feel there's something valuable in chasing the intangible, though. Editing Wookieepedia was fun, and sure, edifying before. Perhaps I'd sit at my desk and write a few Good articles with books scattered across my room. Incredibly satisfying and productive of an evening but yet very... enclosed, in thought.
But there's something too, hard to explain in words, that comes with having met true friends and consistent working partners to enjoy Wookieepedia with. There's several such groupings of people that come to mind, and I'm sure they know who they are. Having people to VC with to talk about nothing and everything at once - to expound on our collective hopes and dreams for what Wookieepedia can be, how we can participate in that future... Having the most productive of watch parties to fill out appearance lists, having the intellectual challenge of piecing together a complex Featured article nomination with a friend by using both of your strengths to achieve something infinitely harder to achieve on one's own...
Being able to reflect on the many, many dramatic (or perhaps traumatic) eras Wookieepedia's been through with editors who've been there, and understand…To be able to pick up a conversation with those friends effortlessly whether it's been an hour or weeks since you've last spoken…To laugh until it hurts, to stay up far too late, to know who's joined the call simply by the sound of their voice(s), to bring up inside jokes for the hundredth time… To revel simply in the silence of slamming through maintenance, knowing you're not alone, or to know by heart which friend's specialty aligns with what you're working on, making it an easy conversation segue to ask about an obscure magazine they own... The satisfaction perhaps of reviewing a lengthy Featured article nomination is that much better on call.
It's freeing. Empowering. All of those things are so more infinitely gratifying than working by one's own all the time. It's something that I sincerely wish for every Wookieepedian to be able to experience. And maybe we'll someday find a way for that to happen. As Wookieepedia looks to its hopefully grand future 2026 and onward, the next generation of editors will start forging their path here in the next few years, with time as the only tell for how they'll make their experience unique.
I have two that I can remember, one that I enjoyed and one that I definitely didn’t.
The first dream was not in the Star Wars universe itself, but rather a world entirely like our own but with one change, which I discovered by flipping through channels on the tv. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was replaced by a different movie called Star Wars: Legacy of Evil. I have a summary of its first 10 minutes written down but last time I tried to post it here it was deleted as fan fiction. In my dream I watched the first 10 minutes and initially thought it was a very high quality fan film of some kind, so I fast forwarded to the credits (not possible in real life, but that’s dream logic for you) and saw that it was in fact an official movie directed by someone named Robert Eirhorn. Unfortunately, I woke up before I could rewind to watch the whole thing. I had this dream in early 2022.
The other dream I had when I was around 9-11 years old and the first season of Star Wars Rebels was being released. I don’t recall as much about this one and did not write down what happened in it, but I recall it being set in the hallways of a spaceship where there were no viewports and there was a power outage. I was being hunted by the Grand Inquisitor, and the only sources of light were his glowing yellow eyes and his red lightsaber. No matter how far away I was from him, I could hear his voice as if he was right next to me. I don’t recall how that dream ended, but I think I woke up before he could kill me.
So have you had any Star Wars dreams that you can recall?
I was wondering what ever happened to the remaining ARC Troopers after the Clone War. I know the Clone Commandos were retained and used to train the TK Troopers, but did the surviving ARC's do the same or were they kept by the Empire until they were inevitably phased out
The rules are simple - I think of a Star Wars character, you have to ask me a question to which I can answer "yes" or "no", and then you have to guess which character I'm thinking of.
Hi, everyone! I was wondering if this Annihilator - https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Annihilator
Is also the same Annihilator mentioned by Vader in issue #2 of Marvel's Star Wars: Darth Vader (2015)?
If so, the article could be expanded a bit.
I notice that a lot of aliens in Star Wars are basically humans with different physical characteristics. What I am referring to is that psychologically everyone seems to work like a human. I feel like this shouldn't be the case with aliens you know? Is this always the case? Like for example, are there aliens who genuinely aren't as good as humans at facial recognition? Or aliens who don't have a fight or flight response or it works differently for them?
