Star Wars: The Old Republic on Vanhan Tasavallan aikakauteen sijoittuva massiivinen internetmoninpeli, joka on tällä hetkellä BioWaren kehittämänä. Pelistä ilmoitettiin ensimmäisen kerran 30. lokakuuta 2007, vaikkakin yksityiskohdat olivat tällöin epäselviä.[1] E3-messujen aikaan vuonna 2008, John Riccitello vahvisti MMO:n olevan yhteydessä Knights of the Old Republic -videopelisarjaan.[2]
