Valosapelityyli Vapaad oli vaikealaatuinen taistelutyyli, jota käytetiin enimmäkseen hyökkäykseen ja vähäiseen puolustukseen. Oppilaat ja muut eivät saneet opiskella tyyliä, koska se oli lähellä pimeää puolta.
Eräs kuuluisimmista tyylin käyttäjistä oli sen luonut jedimestari, Mace Windu.
