Mur Lafferty est une auteure américaine née le 25 juillet 1973. En 2016, elle a écrit la nouvelle "The Voice of the Empire". Lafferty a participé à la célébration des quarante ans de Star Wars épisode IV : Un Nouvel Espoir en écrivant la nouvelle "Not for Nothing" pour From a Certain Point of View.
