"Isela and I lived here—Toma and Ji and Norika next to us on this side."
―Akanah, upon discovering the ruins of Ialtra[src]

Toma lived in Ialtra, a Fallanassi village on planet Lucazec, with Ji and Norika, next door to a girl named Akanah Norand Goss Pell. Before or during the year 16 ABY, the neighboring settlements Big Hill and Jisasu ransacked Ialtra, fearing the Fallanassi and their powers. The village was heavily damaged and abandoned after the raid.[1]

During that year, Akanah returned to her childhood home to find it in ruins. Greatly distraught by the revelation, Akanah was convinced that she would have felt her friends touch the White Current if they had died. She and her guest, the Jedi Luke Skywalker, determined that Toma and the others had escaped in time.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Toma was briefly mentioned in the novel Before the Storm (1996) by Michael P. Kube-McDowell, the first of his trilogy entitled The Black Fleet Crisis.[1]
