Forma II: Makashi, também conhecido como O Caminho do Ysalamiri, ou A Forma da Contenção, foi a segunda das sete formas clássicas de combate com sabre de luz. Desenvolvida para o propósito de combate entre sabres de luz, com o intuito de suprir as falhas da Forma I: Shii-Cho, Makashi foi a forma mais centrada em duelos dentre todas as sete formas.
