"Shocklock" ranging laser, bottom center
The "Shocklock" ranging laser was a system used aboard the Imperial-class Star Destroyers of the Imperial Navy. Its purpose was to feed both range and telemetry data to the targeting systems of the ship's heavy weapons, such as turbolasers. It was developed by Borstel Galactic Defense.
