- "I'm not choosing sides, I'm choosing friendship."
- ―0-MR1, to C-3PO
0-MR1, more often referred to as Omri, was an RA-7 protocol droid who served the First Order during the Cold War.
Biography[]
A survivor of the Sterdic Star crash on the planet Taul between 31 and 32 ABY,[1] 0-MR1 was taken prisoner by C-3PO and the other Resistance droids. Their group was picked off by the planet's dangers in their fight for survival, however, Threepio and Omri befriended one another despite working for opposing sides in the Cold War.[2]
Omri eventually sacrificed himself, destroyed by Taul's acidic rain while helping C-3PO get a signal to the Resistance. As he faded, he noticed red plating under his silver coat. C-3PO, who had lost a limb during his ordeal on the planet, took Omri's left arm as his own for a time in memory of those who had fallen.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
- "I am not interested in odds, 0-MR1. You're here to find other protocol droids on this ship and interpret Resistance data."
- ―Captain Phasma
In the 2016 video game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, 0-MR1 is voiced by Simon Pegg.[5]

Notes and references[]
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary states that Poe Dameron joined the Resistance three years before the Starkiller Incident, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 34 ABY. Therefore, Dameron joined the Resistance in 31 ABY. As Dameron is a member of the Resistance during the events of Star Wars Special: C-3PO 1, it must take place during or after 31 ABY. Furthermore, the novel Force Collector features the arm of C-3PO, which means that Star Wars Special: C-3PO 1 must take place some time before Force Collector. 'Star Wars: Force Collector' Author Kevin Shinick on How His Story Ties into 'Star Wars' Canon by Dave Trumbore on Collider (November 19, 2019) (archived from the original on November 19, 2019)– states that Force Collector takes place a few years prior to Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, or 34 ABY, meaning that the latest Force Collector can take place is at least two years prior to 34 ABY, or 32 ABY. Therefore, Star Wars Special: C-3PO 1 takes place between 31 and 32 ABY.
