The 282nd Regiment was an armored regiment serving in the Grand Army of the Republic[1] during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[5] Led by a clone regimental commander and a Jedi Commander,[2] the 282nd Regiment was a part of a brigade, and consisted of 2,304 clone troopers subdivided into four battalions, along with support personnel.[3] The regiment utilized TX-130 Saber-class fighter tanks[1] and All Terrain Attack Pods with orange markings.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The 282nd Regiment was first mentioned in the Ground Assault installment of the Star Wars PocketModel TCG trading card game,[1] published by WizKids Games in 2007.[6]
