- Grand Admiral Thrawn is deployed to confront the growing rebellion.[3][4]
- Phoenix Cell acquires five BTL-A4 Y-wing assault starfighter/bombers from the Reklam Station salvage yard, which are given to General Jan Dodonna and his cell.[3][4]
- With the help of Sabine Wren, Wedge Antilles and Derek Klivian escape from Skystrike Academy and join the Phoenix Cell.[10][17]
- The Syndulla residence on Ryloth is destroyed by Hera Syndulla.[6][4]
- The Protectors of Concord Dawn are wiped out by Viceroy Gar Saxon and his Imperial Super Commandos.[18][4]

- The Ghorman Massacre occurs when Imperial troops respond to peaceful protestors on the planet Ghorman with violence.[19]
- Senator Mon Mothma is branded a traitor after speaking out against the Empire's actions at the Ghorman Massacre and flees Coruscant[1] and the Imperial Senate.[20][21]
- The rebellious cells organized into the Alliance to Restore the Republic above Dantooine.[12]
- The rogue Sith Lord Maul has one final duel with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. Although the Jedi defeats him, Maul dies in Kenobi's arms, stating that the one he believes to be the Chosen One would avenge them both.[22][23]
- Phoenix Cell is decimated by Thrawn during the Battle of Atollon.[24][4]
- Darth Vader and Thrawn investigate a disturbance in the Force and come face-to-face with the Grysk Hegemony, which threatens to bring the Chiss Ascendancy into civil war. Due to his duty to the Empire, Thrawn is unable to return home to help his people.[7]
- Darth Vader and Governor Ahr lead a pacification effort in a Mid Rim sector, where Vader is made to obey Ahr's commands by the Emperor as a lesson. After Ahr repeatedly toys with Vader, the Sith Lord manipulates his wording to destroy the biggest threat he can find as a way to kill Ahr, much to the Emperor's joy.[8] (Approximate date)[9]
