- "With Solo and Chewie in lockup on Rampa, it was pretty easy to slip the customs agent some creds and nab Solo's gear."
- ―Sana Starros writes about 373-CR in the Smuggler's Guide
373-CR was a customs agent of the Rampa II Port Authority based in Port Hoshim on the world Rampa II.[1] Between 10 BBY and 3 ABY,[2] 373-CR accepted a bribe paid in credits from the smuggler Sana Starros, who wished to claim the belongings of her husband Han Solo and his co-pilot Chewbacca while the pair were imprisoned on Rampa II. 373-CR approved Starros's merchandise claim form, allowing her to take the gear, which included the book known as the Smuggler's Guide, in which Starros wrote about bribing the agent.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
373-CR was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1]

- ↑ The entry in Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide that mentions 373-CR takes place after Han Solo has completed the Kessel Run, but before he encounters a bounty hunter on Ord Mantell, which is mentioned as having occurred prior to the Battle of Hoth in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide establishes that Solo completes the Kessel Run nine years after the Proclamation of the New Order, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 19 BBY, meaning Solo's Kessel Run must take place in 10 BBY. The Atlas also dates the Battle of Hoth to 3 ABY; therefore, the entry in the in-universe book Smuggler's Guide must have been written between 10 BBY and 3 ABY.
