The A-7 steering system was a model of speeder bike steering system. It provided bikes with a larger maximum turn angle over the standard central poise steering system. Upgrading an S57 Cardinal speeder bike previously equipped with the CP-0 steering system to the A-7 steering system cost 1500 credits and required a H-M engine power core, fifteen units of polycarbonate, and eight helicyclic gears.[1]
During 3 ABY[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess paid for the services of a speeder mechanic to upgrade her speeder bike with the A-7 steering system, providing the necessary parts.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The A-7 steering system appeared as a speeder upgrade in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
