The A-A5 Speeder Truck was a type of speeder truck that was created for civilian use but was retrofitted by the Alliance to Restore the Republic[1] for use in the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. Though not ordinarily intended to be used for heavy combat, the vehicle was used in battle and to deploy Wookiee warrior reinforcements. It was equipped with a laser cannon turret as well as heavy armor.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

The A-A5 Speeder Truck first appeared in an August 2018 update for the canon mobile game, Star Wars: Commander, which was originally released in August 2014.[2] The A-A5 had previously appeared in Star Wars Legends in works such as The Last Command,[3] The Rebel Alliance Sourcebook,[4] and more.[5]
