The AI Project was a droid construction project led by the Koroli Masters sect of the Machinist Theocracy on the planet Karlatt. After the AI had become deviant and indestructible, the project was condemned and the Machinists fled to Temple Maudit in a desolate, sterile peninsula of Karlatt's eastern continent.
