Aaloth was a Twi'lek colony planet in the Gaulus sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During its history, Aaloth was once occupied by the Sith Empire.[3] By the High Republic Era, Aaloth was nominally a member of the Galactic Republic, as a part of the Clan Assembly on Ryloth and was ruled by a Keeper. It was the homeworld of the Nihil Tempest Runner Lourna Dee and her family.[1]

Aaloth first appeared in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott. Due to Tempest Runner being an audio-only release,[1] the name's spelling was only confirmed by the short story "The Kindling" from the collection Life Day Treasury, also published in 2021.[3]
