Abrion Major was one of the hundreds of agriworlds located in the Outer Rim Territories' Abrion sector. Shortly after the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Senator Esu Rotsino led Abrion Major as well as the rest of the Abrion sector in defecting from the Galactic Republic to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Rotsino then represented Abrion Major and the other worlds of the Abrion sector in the Separatist Senate.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Abrion Major was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends, Abrion Major was first mentioned in HoloNet News Vol. 531 #52, an in-universe issue of the HoloNet News[2] authored by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens,[3] published as part of the HoloNet News website on April 18, 2002.[4]
