Adarlon was a location whose population supposedly suffered a famine while under the control of the New Republic, according to claims made in the news feeds of the First Order. The stormtrooper FN-2187 viewed such a news report during a morale session within his training on Starkiller Base, shortly before his deployment to the planet Jakku[1] in 34 ABY.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Adarlon was first canonically mentioned in the 2014 young-readers' book Star Wars Rebels: Head to Head, written by Pablo Hidalgo as a tie-in to the animated series Star Wars Rebels.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Adarlon was first mentioned in the 1990 West End Games Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters, written by Mark Rein-Hagen and Stewart Wieck.[4] Adarlon made its first appearance in the "Galaxywide NewsNets" feature in the fifth issue of the magazine Star Wars Adventure Journal.[5]
