Admiral of the Fleet,[1] also identified as Admiral of the Navy,[2] was used in the Imperial Navy of the Galactic Empire. The Admiralty's Fleet Command branch had authority over most of the Navy personnel, which ranged from the lowest recruit, to the Admiral of the Fleet.[1] Chief of the Imperial Navy Conan Antonio Motti was the Admiral of the Fleet after climbing the Imperial hierarchy, more so by tradition and family relationships than his merits.[2]
