The Aerie was a carrier utilized by the Cloud-Riders to transport them and their swoop bikes during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The ship rarely landed, as the swoops could launch from altitudes of 400 kilometers.[2] It served as the nomadic pirate group's home base.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
During the development of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Cloud-Riders' carrier ship was going to be called the Buckshot. Its design was made from kitbashing a B-wing.[4] The Razor Assault Ship from the 2019 sequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker had a similar design to the Buckshot.[5]
