The Aing-Tii were a sentient species. Their neural activity resembled the motion and reactions of the plasma within wayfinders, navigational devices used by both ancient Jedi and Sith.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

In the new Star Wars canon, the Aing-Tii were first mentioned in the 2019 reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Aing-Tii first appeared in the story "Galaxy's Edge," published by West End Games in 1996 as part of The Kathol Outback, a supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]
