The Albarrio sector was a sector[3] of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories.[1] It contained the Mygeeto[2] and Albarrio star systems. During the Clone Wars, Scipio in the Albarrio system[3] was the headquarters of the InterGalactic Banking Clan[6] which led to a battle taking place there between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[5]
Cassian Andor served as a Fulcrum recruitment agent in the Albarrio sector.[7]
Behind the scenes[]
The Albarrio sector was first mentioned in Riders of the Maelstrom, a Star Wars Legends supplement written by Ray Winninger for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. In the Legends reference book The Essential Atlas the sector was placed in the Outer Rim Territories; however, when the Albarrio sector was confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars it was accidentally placed within the Core Worlds region instead. That was the result of an editing mistake, however, rather than a change in the sector's location.[8]

- ↑ Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki on the Jedi Council Forums (Literature board; posted by jasonfry on 1/8/2016, 2:05pm; accessed January 8, 2016): "To better fit the storytelling. Scipio was placed in the Core when nothing was known about it other than that it was the homeworld of Rush Clovis. A Core placement seemed to fit based on that, though it wasn't much to go on. When Clone Wars gave us stories actually set on Scipio, we saw that it was a critical IGBC world with a significant Muun presence, so it was moved to a location in the ORT near Muunilinst. Which makes *far*more sense than the Core. This change was actually made for Ultimate Star Wars -- note it says Scipio is in Albarrio sector, which is in the ORT. The region wasn't changed because of an editing mistake." (screenshot)
