The Alderaanian crown jewels,[2] also known as the Crown Jewels of Alderaan,[3] were objects of jewellery that were part of the monarch of Alderaan's regalia.[1] Brea and Senni Tonnika once broke into the Royal Palace of Alderaan to steal the jewels, but their attempted heist failed, forcing them to hide in a dumpster for two nights.[2]
Although the Galactic Empire destroyed Alderaan[4] in 0 BBY,[5] elements of the crown jewels survived, inaccessibly locked aboard the Nau'ur-class yacht Memory. At one point, the Memory was set to moor on Pantora for one night, hosting an exclusive charity ball for the Alderaanian diaspora. This, however, again presented an opportunity for the jewels to be stolen.[1]
