- "Who wouldn't rather be out on the Alkenak fields getting in a few rounds rather than be stuck in a stuffy courtroom for days on end?"
- ―Advertisement for the C4LR litigation droid in the fiftieth-anniversary edition of Galladinium's Galactic Datalog of Fantastic Technology
The Alkenak fields were a sporting venue[3] located in[2] the Core Worlds' Alkenak system.[1] At some point between 0 ABY and 3 ABY,[4] they were mentioned in the fiftieth-anniversary edition of Galladinium's Galactic Datalog of Fantastic Technology. In the datalog, an advertisement for Caldrahlsen Mechanicals' C4LR litigation droid rhetorically inquired whether anyone would not prefer to be playing on the Alkenak fields instead of spending days on end in a courtroom.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The Alkenak fields were mentioned in Galladinium's Fantastic Technology, a 1995 sourcebook authored by Rick D. Stuart for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Alkenak fields in relation to the Alkenak system.
