AT-ATs on Hoth
All-terrain vehicles, also known as the AT-series,[1] were a line of walkers used by the Galactic Republic, Galactic Empire, and subsequently the First Order. The line included All Terrain Armored Transports (AT-AT) and All Terrain Tactical Enforcers. (AT-TE)[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The All-terrain vehicle first made its official appearance in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back with the appearances of both the All Terrain Armored Transport and the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST), both of which were seen in the opening scenes of the movie.[3] However, the vehicle line was not officially named until the release of the 2017 video game Star Wars Battlefront II published by Electronic Arts.[4]
