Alliance Starfighter Command was a branch in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's military that was in command of the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps. Even though Starfighter Command was commanded by General Antoc Merrick, he deferred to Colonel Bandwin Cor for the day-to-day decisions.[1]

Phoenix Home was destroyed in 5 BBY. The Rebel Files also establishes that in 5 BBY the Atrivis Resistance Group joined what Mon Mothma had recently began calling "the Alliance". For these reasons, we can infer that Starfighter Command was established during or prior to 5 BBY, before the official formation of the Alliance to Restore the Republic in 2 BBY during the Declaration of the Rebel Alliance.
