The Alopia Rift was a deep submarine trench on Mon Calamari. Sufficiently deep to provide access to valuable mineral deposits and free of the dangerous creatures inhabiting many similar trenches, the submerged valley was the site of several Quarren mining operations.[1] Bringe was in an accident in the Rift that removed his ability to breathe.
