A binog, one species of amphi-mammalian.
An amphi-mammalian were a class of species that had both mammalian and amphibian traits. One notable species in this class was the extremely rare binog, which was native to Bogano. At least this species of amphi-mammalian was capable of living for thousands of years.[1]
Behind the scenes
Amphi-mammalians were first introduced in the 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with the individual species known as the binog, which resides on Binog Mesa of Bogano in the game. Other amphi-mammalians have yet to appear in the Star Wars universe.[1]
