An amplifier droid during an Apprentice Legislature session
Amplifier droids were hovering droids used to amplify sounds. A number of them were located on the planet Jelucan about 16 years after the formation of the Galactic Empire, when an Imperial proctor announced the names of the students accepted into the various Imperial Academies across the galaxy.[1]
After the founding of the New Republic, members of the Senate utilized amplifier droids when addressing their fellow Senators.[2]
