An amulet of influence was a device that could be created by wielders of the dark side of the force. Whoever wore the amulet was forced to obey the commands of the amulet's maker. During the Clone Wars, Darth Tyranus, known publicly as Count Dooku, created an amulet of influence, which he gave to the Gungan Boss Lyonie. His control over Lyonie almost allowed Dooku to conquer Naboo.[1]
