The Andalia system was located in the Lorelli Reach, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected by the hyperlane known as the Lorell Route to the Lorell and Sennex systems.[1] The Andalia system was the origin point of the article of clothing known as the Andalian cloak.[2][3]

The Andalia system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]
