Andor Season 2, alternatively titled Andor: A Star Wars Story Season 2,[5] is the second and final season of the television series Andor, comprised of twelve episodes. It was already in pre-production by May 2022[2] and started production on November 21, 2022,[14] and was set for release in 2024,[15] but it was later confirmed that it will be released in 2025 starting on April 22, 2025.[5] While Season 1 took place entirely in 5 BBY, Season 2 took place over the course of four years,[1] separated into four three-episode blocks, each showing a few days of a year, with the final block leading into the opening scene of the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.[16][17]

According to writer Tony Gilroy, the plot of Andor was based on historical revolutions.[19] A part of Andor Season 2 was filmed at the City of Arts and Sciences complex in Valencia.[20]
