The angry machine was a device utilized by Wikyochee, a ten-year-old member of a non-Human species. Wikyochee, though generally agreeable, would occasionally slip into a more violent temper. The angry machine he possessed would calm his body down and allow him to return to a more affable state.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The angry machine was created through the 1996 "Design An Alien" competition by a Star Wars fan named Aaron Reeder, who was eleven years old at the time. In Reeder's entry for Wikyochee, which was published in Star Wars Galaxy Magazine 7 as an "honorable mention," the angry machine was mentioned as a part of his blurb for the character.[1] Leland Chee, the keeper of the Star Wars Holocron continuity database, later confirmed that published "Design an Alien" materials were considered canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.[2]
