There were a number of models of turrets designed by manufacturers that were suitable for the role.
- Bp.2 anti-infantry turret, commonly used by the Imperial Army during the Galactic Civil War.
- DF.9, a one cannon turret famously used in the Battle of Hoth by the Rebels.
- Twin DF.9, a more powerful, faster-firing model similar to the DF.9 but with two cannons.
