Area 52 Games is a Seattle-based mobile and PC game development studio. The company was founded in June 2013.[3]

The development studio partnered with Disney Interactive Worlds to develop the now-cancelled browser-based PC game Star Wars: Attack Squadrons. While development has ceased, Area 52 and Disney Interactive have stated that they plan to release other Star Wars games in the future.[4] The studio's name is a nod to Area 51.
