"We just embarrassed the Empire—I wouldn't be surprised if they threw a dragnet over this entire region."
―Arhul Narra, to Luke Skywalker[src]

Arhul Narra[5] was a male human pilot who served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, Commander Narra was tasked by Alliance High Command to lead Red Squadron. Upon his taking command, Narra asked Lieutenant Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles to continue to fly with Red Squadron but made it clear that neither of them should expect specialized treatment after destroying and surviving the Death Star.[2]

Sometime later, Narra led Red Squadron during a battle between the Rebel Alliance and Darth Vader in his TIE Advanced over the planet Vrogas Vas.[3] In a message to General Jan Dodonna following the battle, Narra admitted defeat in the battle and stated it was one of the worst culling of starfighter pilots he had ever seen.[6]

Around 3 ABY,[1] while the Alliance were at Echo Base on Hoth, Narra was killed in an Imperial ambush along with many other members of Red Squadron.[7]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Helmet Collection logo small.png Star Wars Helmet Collection 3 (Databank A-Z: Wedge Antilles–Azmorigan) states that Arhul Narra's death takes place while Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles are at Echo Base on Hoth. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that the Battle of Hoth took place in 3 ABY, and Lost Stars states that the base was inhabited for less than a month before the battle took place, therefore Narra's death must have occurred around 3 ABY.
