Arve Otter Juritzen is one of Norway's leading media personalities. Juritzen's television career has seen him host programming on TV 2, Norway's largest commercial television station, and TVNorge. His hosting credits include the Norwegian version of the hit game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (2000), the reality show Big Brother Norge (2001-2002), and the societal talk show Juritzen direkte (2002). Since 2006 Juritzen has successfully forayed into the world of publishing, starting his own company, Juritzen Forlag (Juritzen Publishers), and to date has authored six books.

Among many other fellow countrymen, including several dozen Norwegian mountain-rescue skiers,[1] Juritzen portrayed a Rebel soldier during the Battle of Hoth as an uncredited extra in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.[2][3][4] The Battle of Hoth scenes were filmed in Finse, Norway, in March 1979.[1]
